Claire joined Illusions in 2018 (when Darryl was the big boss man) and she instantly fell in love with the shop. Claire has worked extremely hard on her tattooing skills since then, whilst also being a mum of four. In 2020 Darryl decided it was time for a change and Claire took over as the new owner of Illusions,
Claire’s favourite things to tattoo are portraits, realism, flowers and handwriting of loved ones. She is super passionate about getting her line work perfect.
Claire is known for chatting about really weird things, conspiracy theories and cute fluffy animals. She likes a bit of spice girls, vengaboys and drum & bass blasting on the stereo.
Darryl

Darryl owned Illusions from 2007 till 2020. He has put a hell of a lot of hard work and time into the business to make it what it is today.
Skulls, skulls, skulls….. and more skulls. Darryls favourite things to tattoo are skulls , dark roses and Japanese pieces. If you’re after a cover up, this is your man. Darryl is the big papa bear of the shop and known for playing “dads playlist” on the stereo. Fuelled by coffee and phantom of the opera.
